Missions

SGIMP (also called Sekurit Poland) is part of Sekurit, a Business Unit leader in automotive glazing and part of the Saint-Gobain Group. Sekurit Poland has a strong industrial footprint with 4 plants in Poland producing advanced and complex glazing mostly for the German car makers present in Western and Central Europe.

Following the nomination of a significant automotive project, Sekurit Poland will substantially enhance its industrial capabilities in polyurethane encapsulation, a process used to overmold certain types of glazing, particularly large roofs. The associated bonding systems require thorough validation. A similar initiative is also starting in Shanghai.

As a VIE, you’ll join our Ilowa plant and support the industrialization and ramp up of several models starting end of 2025, on the different existing processes.

As a Process and Industrialization Engineer VIE, you will support the production of starting products, by:
  • Acquiring technical knowledge on the process and product;
  • Learning the customer specific requirements and ensuring their application in our processes during the industrialization phase and production life;
  • Capitalizing lessons learned into production and process standards, especially linked to component design and component’s packaging;
  • Making the link with the central R&D department based in France and Germany.
You will have the opportunity to work on pre-mounting activities and strategic new high-added value roofs, encapsulated or not.
You will take the time to understand the specifications and the expectations of our customers and ensure their application in our manufacturing processes.
You will also have the opportunity to understand and challenge how the components are designed, manufactured and used in the pre-mounting line, learn how the glass is bent, what the control steps of the process are, what the impact of storage and transportation is…
Travels within Europe to visit glass plants and component suppliers will be possible.
