1 Position and Mission
Welcome to the Orange Europe management team. Orange Europe operates across 6 countries: Poland, Romania, Belgium, Slovakia, Moldova, and Luxembourg.
Orange offers a wide range of innovative telecommunications services to both individual and business customers. Orange Europe has a clear ambition: to be the best sustainable convergent telco in Europe, and digital is at the heart of this journey.
As a Product Designer within the Sales & Digital team, you will play a hybrid role, combining design craft and product ownership. You will own standardized "master" building blocks (such as our AI assistant, TV service, and other core features) designed once and deployed across multiple affiliates, balancing a scalable core product with local relevance.
2 Key Responsibilities
In this exciting and versatile role, you will:
1. Design master building blocks end-to-end: craft user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma for standardized components (AI assistant, TV service, etc.) reused across affiliates.
2. Lead discovery across affiliates: gather requirements from local markets, and define the standard core experience together with a clear customization framework (what is open for local adaptation versus locked) .
3. Guarantee design system consistency: act as the reference for Group Design System (OUDS) implementation on master components, working closely with IT on design-to-code so components remain technically reusable.
4. Grow the shared component library: collect reusable patterns from affiliates (bottom-up) and propose new ones for network-wide reuse (top-down) ; translate affiliate requests into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized backlog.
5. Partner with engineering through delivery: join agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, demos) to ensure design intent survives implementation, and support UAT by validating builds against Figma specs before handover to local affiliates.
6. Track adoption and act as reference point: monitor post-launch usage and KPIs by affiliate, feed learnings back into the master roadmap, and serve as the trusted design/product contact ensuring consistency at scale without blocking local relevance.
3 Skills Necessary for This Job
To thrive in this position, we are looking for candidates who possess the following skills:
n Strong hands-on mastery of Figma: high-fidelity mockups, component libraries, and interactive prototyping ready for implementation.
n Solid understanding of Design Systems usage in FIGMA: design tokens, components, and reusable patterns; prior exposure to OUDS is a strong asset.
n Prior experience on agentic AI
n Ability to synthesize requirements from multiple markets and stakeholders into a common, scalable solution while respecting local needs.
n Familiarity with agile and Product Owner practices: backlog management, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
n Analytical mindset, comfortable using KPIs and usage data to continuously improve the product roadmap.
n Well organized, autonomous, and able to work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering teams across countries.
n Fluent English is compulsory; French important and other Orange Europe footprint languages are a plus.
4 Profile
n You graduated with a Master's degree or equivalent in Digital Design, UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or Engineering.
n You have relevant experience or academic projects in Product Design / UX/UI, ideally with exposure to e-commerce, mobile apps, or digital telco services.
n Experience designing for web and/or native iOS & Android is a plus; familiarity with React Native is an additional advantage.
n Team player, ready to work in international hard working team
