Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Static Stress Engineer in System Installation (f/m) to join our Stress Department based in Toulouse, France.
You will join the multi program Fuselage engineering organization and be part of an integrated team having the global view on aircraft system installation design and justifications.
We are looking for a multi skilled Static/Dynamic/Fatigue Stress Engineer, to join the expanding team System Installation Stress Engineering.
You will also have the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural and transnational environment.

Your challenges:
- Managing different activities of system installation work packages regarding Stress activities.
- Coordinating the stress activities of sub-contractors (follow-up of plan, methods, policies)
- Validating justification reports for certification
- Performing preliminary structural analysis of parts and preparing stress sheets and stress reports for structural components.
- Providing support to manufacturing and in service A/C.
Your boarding pass:
- Graduated in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with proven knowledge of structure and stress structure.
- Proven experience in materials stress (FEM, etc.) ; Static stress experience (4 years at least)
- Advanced knowledge of fundamental stress principles and methods including hand calculations and linear FEA
- Good level of knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools
- Autonomous approach with a good ability to react and adapt
- Open minded and synthetic with capability to step back from activities and propose new ideas.
- Open to new digital technologies with an understanding of the benefits of the digital solutions
- Advanced level in English and French.
