"As a VIE R&D Chemist, you will take ownership of the synthesis cycle for next-generation materials.
Your mission focuses on the following key pillars:
- Synthesis & Laboratory OperationsDesign and execute the multi-step synthesis of novel organometallic and silicon-based precursors.
- Perform advanced purification techniques (distillation, sublimation, recrystallization) to meet semiconductor-grade purity standards.
- Handle air-sensitive materials daily using Schlenk lines and glovebox techniques.
- Analyze chemical structures and purity using NMR, evaluate thermal properties of new compounds through TGA and DSC.
- Interpret analytical data to troubleshoot synthesis routes and optimize molecular stability.
- Contribute to IP and reporting by drafting concise R&D reports and providing data for new patent applications, present findings during internal technical meetings.
- Promote a ""Safety First"" culture, actively participating in laboratory safety activities and risk assessments for hazardous materials."
Profil recherché
Education MScSoft and Hard Skills "Must have:
- Expertise in organometallic or inorganic synthesis.
- Proficiency in air-sensitive chemistry (Schlenk line, glovebox) .
- Analytical skills: NMR, TGA and DSC.
- Safety-First Mindset: Rigorous adherence to lab safety protocols.
- Communication: Clear reporting and collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent English (technical reporting and meetings) .
- Knowledge of handling pyrophoric, toxic, or combustible materials.
- Korean language skills (conversational) .
