Missions
Mission & accountabilities as Airworthiness engineer:Within AHJ Airworthiness Office, your responsibilities will be the management of engineering and technical activities ensuring helicopters modified by AHJ are airworthy and therefore in safe condition for flight. In connection with AHJ Design Office, Project and Tests departments, you will manage the necessary approvals (certification) by showing compliance to technical requirements (eg. by test, analysis…) .
Your tasks will be:
Acquire helicopter engineering knowledge.
Acquire knowledge in airworthiness regulations and requirements (ICAO, EASA, JCAB, FAR, CS…) , study and analyse them.
Handle certification/qualification activities (STC) as airworthiness engineer;
Define and coordinate certification/qualification strategy within engineering team
Prepare certification plan means of compliance proposals (eg test, analysis…)
Prepare explanation and negotiation materials to authorities
Support for liaison with authorities (eg explanation, negotiation…) .
Maintain and improve design and certification process (design management system) .
Coordinate for design organization approvals (Design Supplier Approvals, JCAB DOA…) .
This role may involve some travel for business within Japan and the Asia Pacific Region (APAC) or worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Profil recherché
You have the following skills and experience:Education in Engineering (Master degree) , preferably in Aerospace
Passion and curiosity for technology and aviation
Learner mindset to study and analyse airworthiness, safety and design requirements
Rigorous mindset, ability to work methodically with precision and thoroughness
Ability to interface with engineering teams and discuss technical matters clearly and simply
Good communication skills, ability to work with different cultures
English skill - Fluent
