Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Project Portfolio analyst and Digital Governance Process Improver (m/f) to join the DTO department based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions:

The role has two main components,
A first component is supporting the Portfolio Manager with the analysis and tracking of the financials of the entire Digital project portfolio as well as contribute to the Quality checking of the project execution as defined by the Digital Governance department.

A second component is the IM EMP-19 CES Improver. The IM EMP19 CES Improver is essential to document, maintain and improve the activities of the EMP19 process which are part of Airbus Helicopter’s Quality system (Company Excellence System) .

Scope (main activities, IM products, IM services)

As Digital Project Portfolio analyst you will analyse the execution- and financial performance of the portfolio as a whole, and individual projects. You will steer and alert when projects do not perform as expected, as well as coach the project leaders improving the execution quality.

You will be the main contact person for the Digital project leader community in relation to the execution- and financial-performance of the portfolio. For this you will work in close collaboration of the IM Controlling department

As CES-19 Improver you will be the person to create and maintain the EMP-19 process. You will try to reuse and adapt were necessary industrial framework COBIT and use LEAN methods to improve and benchmark IM processes.

You will be the go to person for the Digital Governance when changes arise in our process landscape.

This person is the coordinator for audit activities in which the IM Governance department is involved.


Responsibilities

As IM Project Portfolio analyst

  • Secures, in close collaboration with the rest of the team and the finance department, the reporting of the financials relative to the IM portfolio
  • Performs and reviews analysis of present and future execution- and financial- performance of the portfolio
  • Works directly with Digital project leaders to secure project execution and performs Quality Gates and PI Metrics
  • Will perform Stage-gate reviews
  • Coach project leaders in project method techniques
  • Perform training sessions on methods and project financials
  • Collects IM Project leaders feedback and applies data analysis techniques to improve data quality
  • Drives improvements in financial project data management through automation, training and coaching.
  • Create and maintain an automated KPI / PI dashboard to be used during the monthly CIO review

As the CES-19 Improver

  • Maintain and evolve the EMP-19 process working together with the activity owners as well as the Process owner
  • Support and coach the activity owners in writing their documents
  • Coordinates the necessary steps and rituals that are part of the CES continuous improvements.
  • Maintain the maturity 4 and continue improving
  • Apply COBIT and LEAN principles, as well as other standard frameworks like NIST to drive process improvements
  • Be the LEAN expert of the group
  • Animate the CES dashboard for the IM Governance
  • Build a strong partnership with the CES team and especially with the IM’s CES referent
  • Build a good working relationship with AH LEAN team
  • Build an excellent relationship with the CES IM Domain manager

What are we looking for?

  • You have several years of professional experience in Digital (ICT) environments in operational, build as well as IM governance functions
  • You understand the mechanics of a portfolio and how various funding mechanisms are part of it
  • Sound Quality Management experience as well as design/process verification and validation.
  • A proven track record of project management
  • You know your way around SAP to allow you to verify all financial components that are part of the portfolio costs
  • You are characterised by a high level of communication, problem solving and work prioritization skills as well as extensive interface competencies.
  • You are diligent in your execution
  • You are self-motivated, driven, very reliable and able to work independently in an international and complex matrix-organization.
  • Your profile is completed by excellent communication skills in English.
  • Notions of PMI / Prince2 / SAFe / SCRUM / COBIT / LEAN would be a plus
  • You are, above all, a team player, eager to learn and customer oriented
