Where You’ll Make an Impact1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Support
Partner with Category Managers on high-stakes sourcing, forecasting, and negotiation projects.
Take ownership of the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, drafting quotation documents that set the standard for quality and cost-efficiency.
Identify "quick wins" for cost savings and process improvements across the entire procurement lifecycle.
2. Commercial & Supplier Management
Be the Face of Procurement: Build and maintain robust relationships with our local and small-scale suppliers.
Negotiate with Confidence: Lead commercial negotiations for local contracts to ensure optimal pricing and delivery terms.
Performance Tracking: Analyze supplier KPIs and manage claims to ensure our partners deliver the excellence Air Liquide expects.
3. Operational Excellence & Compliance
Drive the PR/PO (Purchase Requisition/Order) process in close collaboration with Demand Planning.
Ensure every transaction aligns with Air Liquide’s internal purchasing procedures and compliance standards.
Maintain a "source of truth" by keeping supplier contracts and procurement data meticulously updated.
4. Data-Driven Insight
Track and report on procurement savings, providing the COO and CPO with the data needed to make informed strategic decisions.

Education Engineering or Business School Master’s Degree with a specialization or a first experience in procurementSoft and Hard Skills "Must have:
- Agility to work in a matrix environment with a remotely based manager
- Ability to work independently with a rigorous, organized methodology; capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
- A data-driven approach to challenges; able to break down complex issues and propose logical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to ""step into the stakeholder's shoes"" to truly understand their needs and constraints.
- Open-minded and eager to work within diverse, international teams; adaptable to different cultural business norms.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A curiosity to challenge the status quo and suggest process optimizations (not just executing, but improving) .
- Previous exposure to procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle) .
- Basic knowledge of visualizing data (e.g., Google Looker Studio or Power BI) to present buying insights.
