Airbus commercial and the Airbus Quality organization is searching for a Quality Manager for the Logistics Department in charge to Distribute Products (From Supplier to Point of Use) , en CDI, Toulouse aera.

The position is located In Toulouse in a Multi-cultural and Cross country Team part of the Airbus Quality Procurement organization.

Your challenge :

  • Manage the day to day relationships with Airbus logistics providers to solve Quality issues and avoid shortages
  • Be part of innovative projects to optimize the logistics end to end flows from good receipt to distribution to point of use such as digitalization, automation, robotics, … and minimize impact on environment
  • Set-up processes in a collaborative approach with logistics engineering and process owners to improve, simplify, harmonize the way of working in the respect of Quality standards
  • Approve all new logistics demands by analyzing the contractual specifications, evaluating risks for material and people and ensure requirements are covered
  • Introduce new requirements in logistics provider’s contracts by negotiating and updating contractual documentation and manage their applicability through applicable document lists (ADL) .
  • Be accountable of “On Quality” KPIs and challenge providers on their results during regular Quality reviews
  • Request, challenge, approve the logistics providers root cause analysis for all major damages or losses
  • Survey logistics providers activities through regular audits and go-look-see in shop floors (spot assessments)
  • Be the focal point for all audits and assessments (External, Internal, and supplier) in logistics. Secure the deployment of the audit planning. Close the audit findings on time. Acting as supplier auditor, you may conduct supplier logistics audits in other countries
  • Secure the reporting to management on time and update the dashboard on a monthly basis.
  • Manage Quality delegations, Authorizations to perform logistics transactions in Airbus ARP system

Your boarding pass

  • Master degree in Quality or supply chain
  • Deep knowledge of quality certification systems such as EN9100 and EASA Part 21-G
  • Experience in Auditing and Lean Management would be a plus
  • Experience in Aeronautics, Quality and Supply: at least 3 to 5 years.
  • Good knowledge of Quality tools (PPS, 8D, 9S, PDCA…) .
  • Good ability to work in a demanding, multi-functional and multinational environment (internal/external)
  • Availability to travel to Airbus sites
  • Team mindset and ability to work with people from different functions and countries
  • Good Communication skills in English and French (written, spoken)
  • Ability to negotiate and find the win-win solution
  • Capability to prepare and deliver clear messages to various audiences
  • SAP competencies with a proven experience/knowledge in warehouse management module and quality module (MM, EWM, QM)
  • Language skills: Intermediate level of English and french req
