Missions
The Internal Controller will be supporting process owners throughout ALCH to maintain and in some cases (re) design the internal control framework. The Internal Controller will work closely with both the Group and group teams as well. This position will require him or her to have a strong big picture focus, without losing sight of the details to ensure he or she fully understands the challenges, risks and processes to develop the internal controls. Input to the internal control policies and procedures are highly valued and contribute to the success of the department.Design
Assist Internal Control Manager to identify control deficiencies and business risks in major processes, especially for those relating to internal control effectiveness
With supervision of Internal Control Manager, support BL / Function in modifying process / control documentation for continuous improvement and ensure key internal control measures are built into company policies and procedures and are strictly enforced in practice.
Support in / monitor control improvement initiatives (i.e. Delegation of Authorities, validation workflow for various processes, system enhancement, etc) .
Ensure all routine actions expected from group IPC and Finance are processed on timely basis with the supervision of Internal Control Manager
Assessment
Support in risk management and internal control self assessment and defining action plans in case of control issues
Actively communicate and deploy "top to down" and "down to top" methodology during self assessment for ALCH.
Ensure all risk management and internal control self assessment documentations in line with Group / group requirements
Ensure all routine actions expected from group IPC and Finance are processed on timely basis with the supervision of Internal Control Manager
Monitoring
Support to monitor and follow up BL / Functions in mitigation of control deficiencies revealed.i.e. Implementation of 1st level Sapin II Accounting Controls
Support to work closely with legal/HC compliance officers in identifying risks associated with emerging business and provide practical solutions.
Follow up with the improvement expected from non-compliant departments/persons.
Awareness
Ensure % of completion for essential training sessions for identified employees.
Support for communication sessions to business and functions for specific topics with live cases and practical action plans, i.e. Supplier Management, PO Review and Expense Report Approval
