Your tasks and responsibilities
Act as the focal point within the department for procurement-wide project activities.
Engage in the regular business processes of strategic procurement, e.g. for operations planning, price updating, etc.
Identify process improvement needs and run associated improvement projects.
Create a reporting system accounting for the campaign-driven business in the Mission Systems & Weapons perimeter.
Take over special procurement activities, e.g. for research and development projects.
Contribute to sourcing activities, incl. the support of tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements.
Monitor contracts (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and company stakeholders to achieve through out the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure that the suppliers deliver the expected performance in all dimensions (logistics, support, quality, cost, …) .
Support the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and run projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
Support establishment und updating of the product and sourcing strategies within the multi-functional teams of the Mission Systems & Weapons perimeter.
This role will involve some travel for business approximately once a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
Profil recherché
Desired skills and qualificationsEducated to master's degree level (or equivalent) in engineering, economics, business administration, procurement, law or an equivalent field of study.
First practical experience in procurement, project and contract management, business and financial management, sales , etc. (apprenticeships and internships included)
Technical understanding and knowledge of the aeronautics business are a plus
Experience in working with international partners
Agile use of IT tools: SAP, MS Office / Google Suite, etc.
High social competencies, team, and communication skills
Proactive, persistent and logical approach to new challenges
Language Skills: Negotiation level of English; French and German are a plus.
