Quelle sera votre contribution et comment vous épanouir dans ce poste ?
The Global Project Control Director is responsible for ensuring effective control over our portfolio of projects with a focus on EPC/EPCM projects so that an enhanced view can be provided to the Leadership Team.You will work with the respective process owners in various countries in order to identify improvements (detection of gaps and deviations at the different phases of the projects) and aiming overall at reinforcing projects’ predictability.
In close coordination with the Finance Function as well as all Center Risk Management & Project Cost Control Managers, you will ensure thorough implementation of the harmonized Project Control guidelines, processes and tools across the different E&C Centers.
You will also act as Business Process Owner to partner with other disciplines in the E&C harmonization project (ALign) .
1. Formulating and implementing the Project Control Management vision at global level
- Provides expertise and best practice implementation in the organization, mainly through the delivery of the workstreams associated to the OPerations Roadmap and other ad-hoc training to the different Regions.
- Animates the network of Project Controls professionals
- Ensure proper training and development of the Project Control professionals, maintenance and development of the function terms of Working methods
- Act as Business Process Owner as part of ALIGN Project (standardization of process & tools)
- Main Focal Point for Finance Control Department for the different Reports to Management
2. Implementing and ensuring proper control tools and reportings for governance of main projects from tender to completion, standardizing the Project Control Reports across the organization
- Defines global guidelines and objectives, and ensures that the general rules and guidelines are adhered to across all projects through the use of tools and procedures
- Develop & take ownership of Project Review process and ensures all projects are accurately presented and reviewed
- Continuously seeks to improve business efficiency through the promotion and implementation of best practice solutions.
- Provide packages of training if needed for Schedule, Project Cost Control, reporting, productivity measurement, etc., to the different Regions.
3. Providing leadership, expertise, and direction to a multi-disciplinary team made of project cost control, planning & scheduling, risk management, as well as KPI / reporting management.
- Develops a network of contacts throughout E&C so that the transfer and sharing of resources, knowledge, and systems with other parts of the group are maximized.
- Ensures the quality of service provided to business management and project management according to requirements.
4. Providing leadership, expertise, and direction for Projects KPI / reporting management
- Consolidates the relevant project control information to reflect an accurate picture of the Center project portfolio situation
- May provide support as necessary to the Risk Management process and assist with risk mitigation strategies.
Etes-vous LA personne faite pour ce poste ?
You must benefit from :
- minimum 15 years experience in EPC Project Strong Expertise: knowledge and background in projects, with experience in EPC and site (at least one Project EPC complete long-life cycle) .
- financial understanding of the main KPIs and P&Ls: Analytical, be at ease with finance
- knowledge of key tools such as Primavera (P6) , EO-D (P-Bi) , PSR

- Ability to provide a pragmatic, real-world perspective for developing effective project control strategies and detect deviations.
- Knows how to define and deploy multinational processes
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Leadership & Communication: Must be able to lead and coordinate multi region teams of project control managers, planners, schedulers, cost controllers and external functions.
