Airbus Helicopters is looking for an ITSM Product Owner - Service Request Management (f/m) to join our team based in Marignane, France.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team, focusing on Service Request Management.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the product roadmap for our service request capabilities, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our users and align with our strategic objectives.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including our technical development teams based in India, and other business units to translate requirements into tangible product features that enhance user experience, streamline processes, and drive efficiency, all within the ServiceNow platform.

Your challenges:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Service Request Management, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and the ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth research, gather, and analyze user needs, market trends, and business requirements to inform product development.
- Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for your area, ensuring stories are well-defined, estimable, and ready for development by our ServiceNow development teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, our technical teams in India, and design, facilitating clear communication and shared understanding.
- Feature Definition: Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow's functionalities.
- SRM Automation Development: Drive the identification, definition, and delivery of automation opportunities within Service Request Management on the ServiceNow platform, leveraging technologies such as Ansible, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other integration tools to provision services and automate manual tasks.
- User Experience (UX) : Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly experience for service request processes within ServiceNow.
- Development Lifecycle: Participate actively in all phases of the agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, working closely with our offshore development teams.
- Release Management: Plan and coordinate product releases on the ServiceNow platform, including communication, training, and post-launch monitoring.
- Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product performance post-launch, using data to inform future iterations and improvements within ServiceNow.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within Service Request Management on the ServiceNow platform.
Your profile:
- Experience:
Proven experience (5y+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on enterprise software or IT service management platforms.
- Demonstrable experience in Service Request Management processes and best practices (e.g., ITIL framework) .
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions specifically on the ServiceNow platform is a must.
- Proven experience in identifying and implementing automation solutions within service management, utilizing technologies like Ansible, RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) , or other orchestration tools.
- Experience working with offshore development teams, particularly in India, in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) .
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow functionalities, modules (e.g., ITSM, Service Catalog, Flow Designer) , and best practices.
- Familiarity with automation technologies such as Ansible, RPA tools, and API integrations.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to effectively communicate with ServiceNow developers and automation engineers.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications (Nice to Have) : CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) , PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) , ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow Certified Product Owner/Administrator/Developer, certifications in Ansible or RPA technologies.
