What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Multi-systems Co-architecture Engineer within the Overall Systems Architecture and Integration Department and can expect to be involved in the following:
- Be at the forefront of multi-system and aircraft-level design, development, and verification activities, spanning the entire lifecycle from Research and Technology (R&T) through to Entry Into Service (EIS)
- Play a central role in managing stakeholders across diverse technical disciplines (Systems, Airframe, Cabin, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety) to find optimal architectural solutions for their specific requirements
- Leverage and further develop your understanding of aircraft functions to drive the functional and physical integration of complex aircraft systems and their interactions
- Contribute to the evolution and application of Processes, Methods, Tools, and Data (PMTD) for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for the overall systems functional and physical architectures and their digital links
- Be able to deepen your understanding of the various overall architecture disciplines through rotations covering: Overall System Design, Multi-System Physical Integration, Power, Control and Data distribution networks, Multi-System Validation & Verification activities
- Develop your leadership skills in a dynamic professional environment, engaging directly contact with a wide scope of stakeholders
Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Multi-systems Co-architecture Engineer!
What we are looking for
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme (AGGP) , you will need to demonstrate you have:
- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Aeronautical, Systems Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a foundational understanding of Systems Engineering
- A Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge based on a Master's degree, PhD, internship/apprenticeship or similar background experience
- Clear understanding of aircraft functions and systems integration
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development
- Additionally, understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) potential for development applications is highly appreciated
