Main Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement UPLC/HRMS (Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography / High Resolution Mass Spectrometry) : Electrospray Ionization (EI) and Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization (APCI) and GC/MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry) : Electron Ionization and Chemical Ionization methods for the structural characterization by interpretation of fragmentation mass spectra of synthetic small molecules (active pharmaceutical ingredient, process intermediates, impurities and degradants) in the context of chemical development projects, analytical expertise and production troubleshooting
- Develop, validate UPLC/HRMS ( Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography / High Resolution Mass Spectrometry) and GC/MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry) based quantitation methods for small molecules (ultratraces, mutagenic molecules, nitrosamines…) including writing of the documentation (protocols, reports, methods)
- Ensure the reliability and traceability of results obtained. Can review analytical experiences performed by expert mass spectrometry technicians
- Manage projects as a local analytical representative or as an Analytical Team Leader in project teams. Represent your unit or department within project teams and during internal scientific presentations
