A position for an International Procurement Manager has arisen within Commercial Aircraft / Airbus Africa & Middle East FZE in Dubai. You will join the Regional Procurement Office Team.You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic Region of the world in a role covering the full range of Airbus products and services ranging from Commercial and Military Aircraft and Helicopters.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
Market Intelligence: Screen regional aerospace activities related to Procurement including analysis of risks and opportunities, screen competitors activities and their supply chain strategies
Potential Supplier Scouting: Identify potential AME regional aerospace suppliers and potential collaboration opportunities mapping their activities, customers, industrial footprint and partnerships including participation in B2B events. Analysis of regional supplier capabilities
Database & reports: Update Regional Procurement country/key suppliers dashboards, preparation and update tailor made presentation for regional prospects monitor Airbus supplier regional volumes, competitor’s procurement activities, contribution to RPO’s quarterly reports, update of AME RPO G-site on our Airbus intranet.
Regional support: Contribute to regional initiatives and events in the scope of Procurement (Campaigns, country visits, Airbus events)
This role may involve some travel for business within the Africa & Middle East Region and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
Profil recherché
Required skillsYou have the following skills and experience:
A first experience (1-2 years) in Procurement / Supply Chain/ Assessments, ideally within an Aerospace international group / industry
Knowledge of Industrial and Aerospace Businesses is a plus
Good understanding of how Airbus (Commercial and the two Divisions – AD & AH) is operating would be a plus (i.e. operational background with a good knowledge of Airbus business processes/ways of working)
Good project management skills
Ability to connect to internal customers, listen, demonstrate value proposal
Strong ability to drive change & transformation
Strong relationship building, networking, stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
Open-minded, integrity and objectivity skills
Leadership and autonomy to drive your topics

Experience with G Suite tools & environment
Data analytics and IT skills would be an advantage (knowledge of Airbus Procurement Tools like Supplier Mapping, Sourcing Report, Airbus International Footprint, etc.) will be seen as an advantage)
Strong skills in data visualisation, presentation and dashboard creation
Languages skills: Negotiation level in English language is required (plus Arab and French will be seen as an added advantage)
