Description de l'emploi :

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Navigation Systems Test Engineer (f/m) to join our Airbus Flight and Integration Tests Center based in Toulouse, France.

This team is in charge of providing maturity statements of NAVIGATION, SURVEILLANCE and COMMUNICATION systems, following integration tests performed through Benches or Simulators and Post Test Flights analysis.
The team vision is to define experiment and industrialize future methods and means to perform those tests, in line with company objectives:

• Contribute to the Autonomy Research & Technology Roadmap for Single Pilot Operation
• Develop New Tests solutions based on new technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence..) for testing the next aircraft generation (zero Emission, Single Pilot, Visual Based Landing…)
• Decrease Aircraft Development timeframe while increase systems maturity before their deliveries to our customers.

NAVIGATION and SURVEILLANCE is a wide range of avionics systems such as Air Data Inertial Reference System, Radio Altimeter, Weather Radar, Traffic collision Avoidance, Instrument Landing System…..

Your challenges:

• Defining testing strategy for this new architecture, with the support of NAV expert
• Defining the necessary test means
• Performing Lab and flight test exploitation from 1st system prototypes to real systems to be certified
• Establishing a strong collaboration link within the team and stakeholders and get the knowledge all NAV & NAVAIDS systems new architectures.

Your boarding pass:

• Degree in aeronautic Engineering or digital related discipline
• Knowledge in: Matlab / C / Python coding, Signal processing, Image processing, Computer vision, Machine learning / deep learning, Data fusion
• Project management
• Engaged, curious with a creative mindset
• Advance level of English
