Job title: Vaccines Inventory Lead

• Location: Lyon

The Vaccines Inventory Lead is accountable for the end-to-end inventory optimization initiatives supporting cash flow targets. He/She co-leads with M&S Finance the Financial Inventory process that aims at materializing the inventory contribution to cash flow targets.

About the job

Main responsibilities

Drives the end-to-end inventory optimization initiatives supporting cash flow targets required:

• Co-Builds with Therapeutic Areas (TA) and sites the GBU End to End inventory optimization plan assessing opportunities to reduce product cycle-time (challenging the status quo) and end-to-end safety stock (from materials to finished goods on the markets)

Drives the monthly inventory review within the IBP loop (GSR, MBR) and the quarterly cash committee preparation in collaboration with M&S Finance:

• Identify top offenders vs target and mitigation Plan to deliver year-end target; highlight progress from the inventory optimization initiatives

Is accountable for End-to-end safety stock policy process & deliverables:

• Drive in partnership with COE Planning End-to-end formal safety policy revision on a yearly basis considering markets, products, industrial network & performance dynamics

Co-leads with M&S Finance the Financial Inventory process that aims at materializing the inventory contribution to cash flow targets:

• Co-design and co-animate with M&S Finance the Finance inventory process (Budget, Strat Plan, C1, C2)

About you

• Experience: Solid knowledge of IBP process, experience in working closely with supply planning and manufacturing teams to align inventory strategies with production goals
• Soft and technical skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, including stakeholder management with senior leadership. Strategic thinking, ability to capture the whole picture and cooperate transversally. Advanced Financial acumen with Rigor in execution and strong reliability
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain. APICS certification is an asset
• Languages: Fluent in English, additional languages are considered an asset
