Missions

In order to support the Cabin & Cargo Programme Management Engineering team working on Single Aisle, Airbus Operations is looking for a Project Manager Cabin Engineering for Single-Aisle (f/m)

You are a highly motivated graduate and want to get to know the work of a Project Manager (f/m) at Airbus? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in our Engineering SA Programme Cabin & Cargo department designation as a Volunteer for International Experience.

You will form part of the Airbus Engineering Cabin & Cargo team & Programme department for 2 years, and have the opportunity to work with internal customers, exciting projects and liaising with different levels of Airbus management.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
Lead and deliver SA customization related projects to time, cost and quality
Identify, assess and mitigate risks & opportunities and define and steer mitigation actions accordingly
Support and track continuous cross-functional improvement projects and initiatives
Contribute to the modernisation and digitalisation of the fleet management and SA Customization business
Act as overall SA program related entry point to Cabin and Cargo Engineering to foster collaboration and manage internal customer requests
Actively participate in team life, sharing best practises, animate and contribute to team workshops while leading by example
Prepare and support SA Customization Airbus Operational Plan (AOP)

Profil recherché

Desired skills and qualifications
Project Management and/or Engineering experience
Preferably holds a Projects and Program Management (PMP) qualification or other recognized PMI (Project Management Institute) qualification (or equivalent) .
Previous experience within a relevant industry (Aerospace, Automotive, etc.)
Have a background within Aerospace
Negotiation level of English, written and verbal
German & French is a plus.
Excellent leadership qualities
Good influencing and negotiating skills.
A willingness to travel, should the opportunity arise
