The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator will pave the way to smart automation capabilities by integration of new innovative bricks including computer vision and data fusion. The goal is to help the pilots and facilitate the mission.
This internship is within Airbus UpNext, will start as soon as possible and will last for a period of 5 months.
The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator team is looking for a fullstack web technology software engineer in order to develop advanced applications to improve aircraft operations on the ground and in flight.
Mission
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Prepare a test campaign on integration simulator scheduled in September 2025 (involving pilots and external stakeholders ATC) leading to following upstream activities:
- Define the integration steps to verify the progressive good functioning of the components of the systems to be tested : connectivity, data exchange, data management, display
- Prepare test bench configuration to execute integration tests,
- Perform integration tests
- Open defects to track the corrections / evolutions
- Takes part to the pre-evaluation tests on different platforms (simulation and integration simulator)
- Document the test set-up (Set-up procedure in Confluence) when ready for formal tests
- Participate to formal evaluation with test pilots / controllers and provide support
All these activities are jointly done with the Test responsible, the Software development team and the Design Team.
The preparation phase will be run from June to August 2025, the formal test will be done in September-October 2025.
