An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprenticeship in Product Marketing (f/m)" has just opened within Airbus Defense and Space on Toulouse Palays site.

You will join the Space System Marketing department in charge of supporting the Operational and Product Marketing team.

The Apprentice Product Manager is responsible to support the team in managing and executing communications activities and supports Product / Industry / Regional Marketing with regards to the translation of marketing product strategies into appropriate promotion strategies and actions to make our products and services successful in the marketplace

This apprenticeship will start in September 2024 and will last 1 to 2 year(s) .

This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.

Tasks and responsibilities :

You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

You will contribute to the following activities:

  • Generate, coordinate and disseminate market insights (business intelligence, market research, market analysis and forecasting) .
  • Elaborate, consolidate and monitor strategic and tactical marketing plans (customer, segments and product) , establishing a set of marketing objectives derived into initiatives to develop the market.
  • Contribute to product policy and portfolio development, proposing market entry strategies and supporting R&D to prioritize activities versus market demands.
  • Support sales campaigns with all the technical and marketing arguments along the sales process.
  • Develop solution portfolio marketing concepts, content, and leverage digital tools as a background of promotional material.
  • Develop, manage and monitor the execution of marketing communication initiatives in coordination with communication directorate or via external agencies.

Main activities and responsibilities :

  • Deploy promotional plans and messages based on the marketing strategy and sales objectives taking into account relevant customer groups, products / services, vertical market segments and regional aspects.
  • Create content for and monitor the production of promotional materials and tools. (website & social media, direct mailings and newsletters, events & exhibitions, print materials, graphics, press & publications, internal communication…) , in compliance with the processes & tools in force within the central marketing team.
  • Coordinate Space System sponsorship & participations in exhibitions & trade shows, provide messaging/ content for selected Airbus exhibitions, and ensure all Corporate directives are met (when relevant) .
  • Study and define competitive market requirement, and uncover opportunities for growth. Support the product and market analysis and report on changes in governments’ behaviors/budget allocations and issues affecting the space industry.

Skills and prerequisites :

You will integrate a BAC+ 4 level training in the field of Marketing and/or Sales Management or equivalent for an apprenticeship of 1 or 2 year(s) .

You have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Market Analysis & interest for advance or space technologies
  • Communication Campaigns and Social Media
  • Curious, eager to learn, team spirit, diligent worker, enthusiasm
  • Language skills: English: advanced to fluent, & French: advanced to fluent

Our selection process :

The manager will organize interviews with the shortlisted candidates before selecting the final candidate for the apprenticeship.
