An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprenticeship in MySQL database query optimization (f/m)" has just opened within Airbus Defense and Space on Elancourt site.

This apprenticeship will start in September 2024 and will last 2 years.

This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.

Tasks and responsibilities :
You will be joining a 2-year apprenticeship programme at BAC+5 level in the field of data analysis IT.

You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following activities:

• Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
• Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single sub-system / equipment / component / module.

Skills and prerequisites :

• Knowledge of SQL fundamentals
• Understanding MySQL data types and schemas​
• Installing and configuring MySQL
• Writing MySQL queries and statements
• Optimizing MySQL performance and security
• Backing up and restoring MySQL databases

Soft skills :

• Curious, eager to learn
• Team spirit, diligent worker
• Enthusiasm

Language proficiency :

• English: advanced to fluent
• French: advanced to fluent

Our selection process :

All applications are reviewed by a recruiter.

If your application is retained by the recruiter during this first review, you will be invited to conduct a deferred video interview. This will be viewed and then shared with the manager if your application is shortlisted.

The manager will organize interviews with the shortlisted candidates before selecting the final candidate for the apprenticeship.
