Description de l'emploi :

We are looking for an Export Control Directives and Methods Manager H/F for our Commercial Aircraft business to join our Export Control Programme Office based in Toulouse, France.

The Export Control Programme Office is responsible for ensuring that the key elements of the Export Control compliance programme are effective and reflective of changing laws and regulations as well as in line with the overall export control strategy deployed by Airbus top management.

The “Export Control Directives and Methods Manager” has a key role in order to ensure this objective is being implemented in a coherent and pragmatic way across the Group.

Your role within the organization will be to lead the export control Directives and Methods and associated documents (operational guide, policies…) , to ensure their update and cascade on a group wide basis to ensure we can maintain our export control compliance programme mission effectively.

Your activities will be mainly the following:

  • Manage the drafting and continuous enhancement of the Export Control Directives and Methods from different regulatory perspectives.
  • Monitor Export Control Directives and Methods lifecycle improvements to reflect any requests arising from regulatory evolutions, external stakeholders’ recommendation, internal control requirements (corporate audit, 2nd level of control) and business operational.
  • Drive the cascade of requirements across the Airbus Business Management System (BMS) , within the Company organizations & processes
  • Lead the Directives and Methods Change Control Board composed of representatives from the export control divisions and affiliates to review the evolution of the Directives and Methods. Lead the wording update to take into account the requirements.
  • Lead the Policy Task Force (related to business requirements) aiming to support the business in the deployment of Directives and Methods across the business operations. Lead the wording update to take into account the requirements.
  • Support transversally the Export Control Compliance Programme and export control teams with regard to export control directives & methods on training, digitalisation, investigations, second level of controls, risk assessment and management, etc.

Your challenges:

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate (transversal management) cross functional teams in a fast-paced and demanding environment;
  • Solid knowledge in export control with a global understanding of all aspects of export control from EU and US regulations.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills required to draft clear reports
  • Ability to appropriately manage stakeholders and involve others in consultations and decisions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize; regular international travel and on-site missions
  • Solution oriented and pragmatic approach as business partner
  • Ability to travel when necessary
  • Foster teamwork
  • Fluent in English; understanding of French, German or Spanish is a plus;

Your boarding pass:

  • 6 years of professional experience working in a multinational, industrial environment, with export control activities
  • Master Degree
  • English: fluent
  • Project Management experience
  • Team working mindset and positive mindset

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
