Air Liquide Benelux (ALBI) is one of the top largest entities of Air Liquide around the world. It is contributing to the revenue of the Group by more than billion and a half euros (as of results of the year 2021) and has a considerable share in the Net Profit of the Group. Activity of Air Liquide crosses several business segments - Large Industries, Industrial Merchant, Electronics and Hydrogen to Energy - around 3 countries - Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. It has a rich history of activity with tangible market shares in the mentioned countries. From a legal perspective the structure is heavy and complex with more than 20 entities concerned - this obviously leads to a specific complexity of internal processes setup where accuracy and vigilance are predominant and have to be as sharp as a swiss knife. The present environment is challenging and the way Air Liquide operates at the market and is known to its vendors is part of the operational and business image that the company creates through respecting various governance and compliance processes.You will be part of Benelux procurement which is a team made of 10 persons of various nationalities with all levels of seniority, across various domains of procurement (direct/indirect/tactical)

You will be part of a key process, interacting closely with three various teams:
ALBI Operations team
ALBI Procurement team
FCL ALBI Department
Accounting team based in Lisbon
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
In this VIE mission, you will play a central role, supported by the Procurement Manager and by the P2P Improvement Project Manager, to manage your (limited) portfolio of suppliers and propose improvements to our current procurement and finance process by:
Take the lead in contract management with your supplier(s) and ensure compliance with the tools of the group (SRM, Databases etc.)
Be the first point of contact for your internal customers, both from (i) Procurement, (ii) Finance and (iii) Operations, ensuring synergies between the teams
You will also be part of the P2P improvement project and lead some key actions to help develop better governance in the Procure-to-Pay process for the ALBI perimeter.
It will include:
Analyze bottlenecks in the current Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and identify areas of improvement (Continuous Improvement)
Onboard your internal customers by creating guidelines and organizing training and communication
missing links and connect the dots in the different stages of the P2P process

1-2 years of work experience
Education in Engineering, Procurement or Finance
English proficiency is mandatory
