The site of Bietigheim based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division. We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 24 months within the team.
Your challenges?
- As a member of the project team, you will lead the procurement process for components on the bill of materials.
- You will oversee the integration of suppliers into projects to optimize quality, costs, lead times, and continuous improvement (QCDI) , as well as non-recurring costs.
- You will ensure compliance with the segment’s strategy throughout the procurement process for all contracts won by the company.
- You will participate in project meetings and activities (project kickoff, procurement plan, technical steering committee, project management committee) and provide support for project allocation during the CAA for your own site.
- You will identify critical parts and review the contingency plan with the relevant members of the project team (anticipated design revisions, S-VRF, potential specification changes, etc.) .
- You will select the list of bidders based on the compliant segment panel and liaise with project and segment organizations to identify opportunities for consolidation.
- You will assess the impact of risks associated with preselected suppliers on the project in terms of development or production capacity, technical expertise or quality, and financial viability.
- You will work with the project team and the organization responsible for raw materials to propose a mitigation plan and ensure that it is properly documented on the “Pre-SoCo” and “SoCo” pages in PuMa
Profil recherché
Let’s talk about you…- You are graduated from a Master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Project Management
- You already have experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Project Management, ideally in the automotive field
- You have a fluent level of English and ideally you have a good command of German
- You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
- You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
