We are looking for YOU as Senior Principal Discipline Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Bietigheim.
These challenges await you:
- Customer Liaison: Build strong bonds with OEMs in coordination with the Customer/Regional offices through technical expertise.
- Advanced System Analysis and Design: Develop technical expertise in the analysis of complex ADAS systems. This includes defining system architectures through structured analysis of System Use Cases.
- Governance, Standards & Intellectual Property: Establish and chair cross-domain expert committees to define and review cross-PL system solutions during complex RFIs/RFQs.
- SPP & Roadmap: Benchmark systems and E/E topologies, proposing innovative concepts for the Valeo System Roadmap and Strategic Product Planning (SPP) .
- Leadership & Mentoring: Actively develop the team’s technical capabilities though line management or functional leadership, offering mentoring and challenging technical choices to ensure engineering excellence.
You inspire us with that:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) .
- Extensive experience in the development of complex ADAS systems and vehicle E/E architectures, including significant contributions to successful project awards. Experience with Valeo’s current key strategic partners is a plus.
- Experience in the development of IVI (Infotainment) products and related technologies.
- Proven track record in direct people management and leading cross-functional R&D projects.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, align organizations, and bridge silos.
- A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to develop a long-term product vision driven by customer needs.
- Strong networking skills across all levels of hierarchy and throughout a global organization.
