Missions
In September 2025, Conakry Terminal — a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics — awarded two construction contracts for the extension of the Container Terminal of Conakry, including:- the construction of a new 300 m long quay, founded at –14 m CD,
- the development of a 15 hectare reclaimed platform adjacent to the quay,
- and the extension of the port basin breakwater by 200 m.
- overall project consistency,
- compliance with the Employer’s Requirements,
- enforcement of HSSES rules across all stakeholders,
- and ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating interactions between the Construction & Property Department at Head Office and the various project stakeholders;
- Monitoring the engineering firm in charge of project management services, as well as the contractors responsible for the works (quality control processes, deliverables, progress tracking, etc.) ;
- Providing support on ad hoc topics, including specific technical or coordination assignments as required
Profil recherché
- Graduate from an Engineering School, with a specialization in Civil Engineering;
- Initial professional experience in industrial or civil works project management (internships and apprenticeships accepted) ;
- Resilient in difficult environment
- Curious, humble, resilient, adaptable and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn;
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment;
- Fluent in English (B2–C1) ; Chinese is a plus;
- A genuine interest in Africa is a strong asset
