Missions

SLR Consulting France is part of the larger SLR Consulting Group, an international environmental consultancy with +5000 environmental and social consultants operating
from subsidiaries in the Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia Pacific. You will join the Energy & Emissions Excellence Team that is part of SLR’s Energy Advisory practice and provides advisory and implementation support services to industrial clients. With a strong track record of working with multinational organisations, the team specialises in balancing emission reduction, energy, and economics to maximise business value across clients’ operations and supply chains. In Europe, the team’s key sectors include food & beverage, consumer products, life sciences, metals & materials, chemicals, glass & ceramics, paper & pulp, and automotive.

The team delivers business value and impact to clients by advising on and realising desired outcomes in energy economics, energy security, and emission management. The scope of client activities covers the production, sourcing & transportation, use, and management of energy and feedstocks. The transition levers addressed include energy management, electrification, renewables, low-carbon fuels & feedstocks, geo- and solar thermal, low-carbon fleet, and carbon sinks.

As an Energy Advisory Analyst within the Energy & Emissions Excellence team, you will be part of a cross-country and cross-sector team working on projects that directly optimise energy use and decarbonise our clients’ operations. You will contribute to client engagements as well as internal initiatives, supporting the success of the Energy & Emissions Excellence team through your personal commitment.

You will support Project Managers and the wider team in driving projects forward, building models, preparing content, developing insights, and organising workshops and client meetings. You will gather and structure data and information from a variety of sources, and produce compelling analyses and visualisations to support client recommendations and action plans.

Your role includes:
  • Energy & Emissions Excellence project delivery: Develop high-impact data analyses
Develop and present recommendations, Engage with clients
  • Contribute to business development of Energy & Emissions Excellence: Support the development of impactful proposals, leveraging your sector and market insights
  • Contribute to people and skills development within the Energy & Emissions Excellence team: Support the sustainable growth of our practice areas in Energy & Emissions Excellence

Profil recherché

You have 1- 2 years of professional experience in sustainability and decarbonisation and bring consulting skills: an analytical mindset to understand client needs, creativity to design tailored solutions, and the ability to turn strategic ideas into practical actions.
  • You hold a university degree (Master’s/PhD) in environmental sciences, engineering, or economics.
  • You have experience carrying out data-driven technical and economic analyses of energy systems, especially in areas such as energy efficiency, green technologies, and industrial energy processes.
  • You are fluent (min C1-level) in English and in at least one of the following languages: German, Dutch, or French, both written and spoken.
  • You are motivated to join our Energy & Emissions Excellence team in London, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • You are open to occasional travel in Europe
