The site of Tuam based in Ireland belongs to BRAIN Division. We are looking for a VIE Supplier Development & Industrialization Engineer for 12 months within the team.
Your challenges?
- You will support the integration and qualification of suppliers, particularly for camera housing suppliers.
- You will assist in the selection of new suppliers through market research, evaluations, and comparative performance analyses.
- You will work with the engineering department to review roadmaps and designs with suppliers in order to specify the appropriate components and services.
- You will carry out capacity checks at key suppliers to ensure they are ready for mass production.
- You will monitor supplier documentation, ensuring that all files are complete and up to date in the system.
- You will provide support in day-to-day activities and help resolve quality or delivery issues by coordinating the PQA (product quality assurance) and SRM (supplier relationship management) teams.
- You will manage supplier price updates, from validation to entry into the systems (Puma and SAP) .
- You will participate in updating and managing the tooling roadmap for the V5000 site.
- You will coordinate with stakeholders on the SRM parts qualification process to ensure on-time delivery.
- You will monitor supplier performance and support regular reviews.
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and supplier development processes
Profil recherché
Let’s talk about you…- You are graduated from a Master degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing or Engineering
- You already have experience with suppliers and in the field of negotiation (ideally in the automotive sector)
- You have a fluent level of English
- You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
- You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
- You have a good working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP)
