The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division. We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 12 months.
Your challenges?
- You will lead the sourcing process from material cost target preparation till completion of automotive qualification steps and project closure
- You will participate in project meetings, activities and support project award
- You will involve Segment Leader in appropriate timing to share project constraints and propose sourcing strategy compliant with Group Segment Strategy
- You will select supplier bid-list based on Compliant Segment Panel and liaise with Project and Segment organizations to identify Bundle opportunities
- You will assess pre-selected suppliers' risk impacts on the project
- You will install competition between suppliers bringing at least two suppliers at the same technical level and proceed with all negotiations
- You will leverage commodity organization to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions and meet project targets
- You will define and control communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers
- You will manage the monthly reporting (KPIs) towards the Product Line
Profil recherché
Let’s talk about you…- You are graduated from a master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Commerce International,
- You ideally have experience in automotive purchasing
- Knowledge of automotive cost calculation is a plus
- You have a fluent level of English
- Knowledge of German is a plus
- You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
- You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
