We’re now seeking a Technical Manager to ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of our products. Acting as the bridge between our engineering office based abroad and our manufacturing workshop in Hartwell, this role safeguards technical standards without directly managing production or installation activities.
The Role
The Technical Manager is the guardian of technical compliance and product quality. You will validate designs and specifications, ensure conformity to industry standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is distinct from the Fabrication & Manufacturing Planning Manager (responsible for production flow and scheduling) and the Installation Manager (responsible for site execution) .
The Technical Manager ensures that what is produced is correct and compliant, while others ensure how and when it is produced and installed.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight & Quality
- Validate product designs and specifications from the engineering office before release to manufacturing.
- Ensure alignment with company quality standards.
- Act as the final checkpoint for technical accuracy before products move into production.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions in case of quality issues.
- Serve as the main technical interface between engineering office, the Hartwell workshop, and project teams.
- Translate design intent into clear, usable technical instructions for production.
- Ensure smooth handover of technical documentation across design, production, and installation.
- Propose technical solutions to improve product performance or reduce costs.
- Draft and update quality control protocols, assembly guidelines, and technical specifications.
- Monitor industry and technological developments to keep products at the cutting edge.
- Provide technical expertise to Sales and Project Manager during project scoping.
- Participate in project reviews to anticipate and mitigate technical risks.
- Respond to technical customer inquiries and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Profil recherché
What We’re Looking For- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- First experience in technical project management, product quality, or design validation.
- Strong knowledge of our industry standards and compliance in construction or industrial equipment.
- Experience working with international engineering teams and manufacturing workshops.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
- Excellent english communication skills to align teams across geographies.
- Proficiency with CAD, design software, and project management tools.
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality and safety.
- Be the technical bridge between design (India) and production (US) .
- Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial team in a dynamic industry.
