We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering foundation to join our team. In this role, you will help build, automate, and scale our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, passionate about automation, and eager to learn and apply modern DevOps best practices to enhance our software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operational tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot application issues and improve system design for scalability and reliability.
- Participate in infrastructure planning and contribute to system architecture discussions.
- Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, perform root cause analysis.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures for shared understanding and support.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure) .
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) .
- Proficiency in writing scripts in modern programming languages and shell scripting.
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Excellent reasoning and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to learn quickly on the job and adapt to new technologies.
- 2-3 years experience as a Software/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like AWS CDK.
- Understanding of networking principles and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Exposure to system design concepts and architectural patterns.
