Missions
SEGE (Société Européenne de Gestion de l’Energie) is Air Liquide’s energy hub in Europe. Our team of 45 skilled professionals is responsible for developing and executing the energy strategy for Air Liquide’s European operations.Our core missions include:
- Crafting mid to long-term energy management strategies for Air Liquide's European affiliates.
- Energy Sourcing: Securing essential energy for our operations by negotiating contracts and executing transactions on commodity markets.
- Supporting energy transition projects by sourcing long-term renewable power.
- Lead the monthly financial closing process for our Natural Gas and CO2 portfolio, which includes consolidating over €1 billion in costs and sales.
- Deliver in-depth performance analysis and reported to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and improve key processes within our energy management value chain.-Transition our current system from a spreadsheet-based to a robust, object-oriented platform, creating a foundation for a modern, business intelligence (BI) driven environment.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing energy performance data and processes, and proposing new initiatives.
Profil recherché
EducationMasters’ degree of Science in Engineering (civil, industrial, energy, chemistry, bio, environment …) , Business/Commercial Sciences, General Management.
Soft and Hard Skills
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in the energy sector.- Energy Market Knowledge: You must have a background in or a genuine interest in learning about energy markets.- Transversal Management Skills: This is a dynamic role that requires close collaboration with multiple departments, so strong interpersonal and transversal management skills are essential.- Agility and Drive: You must be a quick learner with a results-oriented mindset. Your ability to adapt and perform will be key to succeeding in this role.- Data Analytics: You will need to dive deep into data and analytical tools to generate valuable insights for our customers and society.- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
