Poste et missions :
As part of the development of our international activities, this position is offered under a VIE contract to give a young talent the opportunity to discover our practices in environment, health, and safety on a foreign site, while bringing a French and international perspective to our local teams.The Environmental, Health, and Safety VIE Coordinator will ensure a safe and healthy work
environment by promoting a strong safety culture through execution of HSE training plans,
continuous improvement of the HSE management system, and supporting safe working
environments. They will ensure the site and its activities are compliant with local and
international regulations while meeting SAFRAN requirements. During this experience, the
HSE VIE Coordinator will gain an exceptional understanding of HSE standards and US
regulations, project management and communication skills, practical experience in risk
assessment and conducting audits, increased proficiency in spoken and written English, and
intercultural experiences.
The assigned tasks aim to support local teams on development issues, assist with specific improvement projects, and promote the sharing of best practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement and update policies and procedures necessary to ensure a safe and healthy
- Monitor and track HSE metrics and data, and ensure reporting compliance with federal, state,
- Develop and facilitate training to strengthen the HSE culture, ensure safety compliance, and
healthy work environment.
- Coordinate emergency drills, such as fire drills, to ensure equipment is properly functioning
protocols.
- Promote best practice sharing and drive participative innovation amongst employees. Lead,
- Support and implement strategies to improve safety and environmental practices for facilitywide
- Collaborate with operation, engineering, and quality teams to ensure a safe working
- Perform risk assessments and safety audits to ensure controls are implemented to eliminate
personal protective equipment.
- Perform accident and near-miss investigations to identify root-causes for reoccurrence
- Perform routine audits to evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
