Missions
As an R&D Engineer VIE located in Eibergen, you will contribute to a variety of projects focused on product and process development for Saint-Gobain Abrasives.The main role:
- You will have the opportunity to enhance existing products, but you’ll also play a key role in introducing product innovations, helping shape the future product portfolio and gaining essential experience in product development;
- You will support the production process at our Eibergen site: working closely with colleagues on the shop floor, you will identify issues, propose improvements, and implement effective solutions;
- The company is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2050, and R&D plays a vital role in achieving this sustainability goals - both in terms of product innovation and process optimization;
- We have a strong regional R&D team, and Saint-Gobain operates 4 R&D Centers globally that are providing support to the Abrasives business: you will collaborate with local and global R&D teams to drive innovation.
- This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

Profil recherché
If you recognize yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!- You hold a Master's degree in Engineering (Material sciences, Process Engineering, Chemical engineering or a related filed)
- You have a first experience in R&D within an industrial production setting, and an interest in connecting Production, R&D, and Product Management.
- You could have some hands-on experience with experimentation and data analysis activities, and you know how to translate findings into actionable improvements.
- You possess some data analysis skills; the knowledge of PowerBi or Python would be considered as a plus.
- You are curious, practical, and enjoy exploring and developing new ideas.
- You can easily adapt with various stakeholders and are a team player.
- You are Fluent in English (oral and written) . Some basic knowledge of the Dutch language would be appreciated, but not mandatory.
