Missions

As a Process & Development Engineer VIE, you’ll be part of our Technical Department, focusing on our building insulation line. You’ll work on projects such as optimization, development of the processes of different projects, and maintaining stable product quality at an optimal cost and CO2 footprint.

Working closely with our Technical Manager and Development Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Leading short, medium, and long-term optimization and development projects to ensure consistent product quality, more sustainable processes, and decreased CO2 emissions;
  • Collaborating closely with central teams to lead a project aimed at reducing the footprint of our products;
  • Assisting the Production with the implementation of process standards and providing training to Production Technicians;
  • Actively contributing to creating a safe, healthy, and energy-efficient environment for all employees by utilizing EHS tools (SMAT, TF, Think 5, etc.) and conducting systematic risk assessments;
  • Conducting trials and experiments in partnership with various teams within Isover Sweden (Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Production departments) to enhance and stabilize the product quality;
  • Developing and implementing Statistical Process Control tools to monitor process and product quality;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations through the application of World Class Manufacturing methodology;
  • Supporting the deployment of Best Available Technologies.
This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

Profil recherché

If you recognize yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!
  • Master's degree in Engineering (Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) ;
  • A first experience in a manufacturing or process optimization environment;
  • Some exposure to Project Management activities would be a plus;
  • Data analysis skills with knowledge of analysis tools such as Minitab; Strong Excel skills;
  • Strong communication skills to build close relationships with various departments (Production, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, etc.) ;
  • Adaptability and ease in interacting with diverse stakeholders;
  • Team spirit and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and set clear priorities;
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) .
