Poste et missions :
1. Warehouse Solution Design
- Work with warehouse solutions design team through evaluation and introduction of suitable storage and handling mediums and automation relative to the customer’s needs.
- Provide warehouse analysis and design expertise in the pursuit of new business, inclusive of requirement clarifications, tender evaluations, manpower calculations, infrastructure and automation design and investment cases
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in CEVA Logistics (ANZ and Globally) to ensure a proposed solution solves the clients’ problem
- Responsible for key solution proposal deliverables and involvement in solution presentations to customers
- Learn to challenge traditional thinking through introduction of automation solution design and innovative commercial models
- Maintain working relationships and collaborate with vendors of integrated warehouse technologies and specialist firms
- Maintain close links with LEAN and Business Process Engineering experts to learn LEAN methodologies ad ensure these methodologies are transferred to designed solutions.
- Review existing operations lay-out and perform warehouse re-design as needed taking into consideration of net impact. Review appropriate storage types and methodologies
- Ensure proper assessment of efficiency for solution concepts, undertake simulation studies on capacity profiles and limits, line balancing, incremental investments.
- Conduct financial impact (cost benefit) analysis for proposed initiatives, quantify savings projection and together with intangible benefit.
- Assess the impact of changes and project against commercial offers to assess areas of further substantiation or profit improvement.
- Support the entire bid process, including the development of response format / pricing matrix / responding to queries to timely submission of RFI, RFP and RFQ to customer / sponsors
- Provide expertise in the cost modelling and analysis of business for pricing determination and business improvement analysis
- Support the information flow from the sales lead, and other sales team members and internal service / rate providers to create a complete and professional customer proposal within the required time parameters
- Interface with other function groups such as Operation, Business Process Engineering, IT, Project Management, Account Management and Business Development in developing the bid response
Profil recherché
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluent in English and other languages beneficial
- A good basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn more
