Missions

As a Solutions Engineer VIE, you will be part of a global team that supports the commercial and operation teams in a large variety of market segments. At Omniseal Solutions, we are at the forefront, creating new solutions, and providing simulation & testing expertise to propose unique combinations of materials and design for the most demanding applications.

The main role:
  • You support the design and development of dedicated test rigs and protocols to evaluate product performance;
  • You prepare samples and perform testing and failure analysis in close collaboration with R&D, application, and process engineers;
  • You lead and develop small R&D projects;
  • You study and explore existing literature on dedicated sealing materials and products for hydrogen;
  • You prepare samples and perform testing and failure analysis in close collaboration with R&D, application, and process engineers;
  • You support application, process engineers, and operations with analytical measurements, new material supplier validation (DRM) , and specific customer needs;
  • You have autonomy and are encouraged to identify and develop, under the guidance of more experienced researchers, new testing equipment that can support overall technical understanding and business growth;
  • You give input and advice for further actions based on achieved technical results;
  • You are responsible for 5S and its implementation.

This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

Profil recherché

  • You hold an Engineering degree (focused on Material Science, Mechanical, Electro-mechanics or a related field)
  • You have a first experience in a lab environment and are hands-on
  • You have an interest for innovation and science
  • You are familiar with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • You could acquire some planning and testing skills
  • You have some knowledge of simulation tools (eg. Abacus) and programming languages (Python) would be a plus
  • Knowledge and operation of advanced characterization equipment (SEM, DSC…) will also be considered as an asset
  • You are recognized for your strong commitment to EH&S and 5S standards
  • You are team oriented and also have the ability to work autonomously
  • You are Fluent in English
