BU of Nidec Leroy-Somer, The Electric Power Generation, is looking for a person to join its China subsidiary based in Fuzhou:
More specifically, you’ll join the group in France (Angoulême) during a 6-month period to integrate the company as a temporary employee and discover its operation and culture.
You’ll meet the French engineering team composed of 10 engineers and within the Power Generation BU, you will provide technical support to our engineering department in charge of low, medium and high voltage alternators. This market is a fast-growing sector worldwide and requires strong technical expertise.
Then, you will join our subsidiary for a 12 month VIE contract, meeting China engineering team (15 persons) .
After having familiarised yourself with the technical specifications of the range, the various possible applications of these products and having familiarised yourself with our procedures, you will be responsible for:
- Participate in the design and mechanical development of our generators for day to day business as well as new product development;
- Serve as a technical liaison between the Chinese site and the engineering teams at headquarters and particularly support the transfer of in-house mechanical tool ;
- Help to develop new additional modules in our in-house software for calculation and validation of sub components (rotor lamination, fan, shaft, etc) ;
- Adaptation of existing design to customer specification;
- Participate to the new product development funnel;
- Perform calculation to evaluate mechanical strength, thermal stresses, and fatigue behavior;
- Perform vibration analysis in our workshop for experimental topics under dynamic conditions ;
- Supporting internal departments by preparing technical documentation, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
Profil recherché
What you have to know regarding to China VIE requirements:- You must be of French nationality or a national of a country in the European Economic Area.
- You must be between 18 and 28 years old.
- You must be eligible for a china work permit (Category A, Category B: Category C)
- Minimum required: Engineer Diploma or equivalent (Master degree)
- Minimum required: a two-year professional experience excluding internship and apprenticeship (in general, the two-year experience is made after studies) .
- Fluent English
- Chinese is a plus
- Master degree or Engineering with major in mechanical or energy related field
- First experience in mechanical industrial environment, material knowledges, thermodynamic and heat transfer
- Experience in mechanical simulation (Ansys, Altair)
- Programming skills to help development of in-house software
- Good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Able to show initiative and appreciate teamwork as well as versatility.
