Missions
What you will do:At Logistics Purchasing EMEA you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Take on the challenge of handling part of contract portfolios for logistics services
- Learn the job and visualize improvement areas in the way we work in our teams
- Conduct market analysis through RFIs
- Take part in Sourcing projects and help to optimize Volvo’s supplier network
- Take the lead on commercial negotiations
- Drive and implement development projects and improvement initiatives
- Challenge and influence us with your ideas
- Support the positive mindset for continuous improvement
- Support the team with various analysis’ and development activities
- Digitalization and process automation is something you are interested in, and you actively take part in the digitalization journey that we have entered in Logistics Purchasing
As a VIE in Logistics Purchasing you will be working in a team responsible for buying all logistics services for the Volvo Group in region EMEA. We have a very diverse team of buyers located in Sweden, France, Belgium and Poland. The team is characterized by unique people with a wide range of interests and skills. A combination of recently started colleagues, trained professionals, and experts with a high degree of experience. We seek a colleague that is passionate about logistics, purchasing and analytics – striving for continuously improving the way we work, making it better in every possible way.

To become our VIE in Logistics Purchasing, we believe you have these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- Fluent in English (in speech and writing)
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Strong general IT knowledge (preferably knowledge in optimization & visualization tools)
- Agile & flexible
- Communication skills and strong interest to develop good relationships with stakeholders
- Strong autonomy
