Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your sourcing and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in deploying the Trackside commodities strategy with a focus on the EOLANE project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project teams, sourcing representatives, and commodity managers) , manage supplier relationships, and ensure project execution aligns with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.
We’ll look to you for:
1. Supplier relationship:
- Identification of project and business needs
- Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers (Italians and LLCC) using the standard tool
- Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers
- Inputs provider/contributor for order placement
- Ensure QCD targets achievement, CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) & claims management
- Lead supplier QCD performance reviews
- Management of initial issues before escalation to line manager
- Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines
- Consolidation of commodity needs
- Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Support Trackside Unit for tender phase
- Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
- Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
- Apply the Alstom Sourcing processes, and provide return on experience.
- Closely work with sourcing representatives
- Ensure work package commitment respect
- Ensure QCD targets
Profil recherché

- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience or understanding of sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) principles
- A certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
- Fluency in French and English
- Basic Italian knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage stress effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
- Work with new security standards for rail signalling
- Contribute to innovative projects
