Mission Summary:
Investment:
Support investment process in compliance with Air Liquide corporate governance and blue book guidelines.
In collaboration with product management, develop strategies for capital projects in order to support ALAM’s High Volume and Emerging Product portfolios with focus on competitive growth and sustainability.
Develop financial models to support investment decisions in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to enable investment justifications through a critical review process in conjunction with ALAM Operations Control, Executive and Senior Leadership.
Lead post-implementation effectiveness assessment (i.e., actual vs. forecasted sales, OI, D&A and Capex) processes to ensure effective use of allocated funds.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Air Liquide Golden Rules for investments.
Investment Controller:
Analyzing investment performance, monitoring compliance and risks for on-going projects
Monitoring and driving timely project closures and transition to fixed assets with the ALAM Accounting team.
Enhance Investment dashboards and data reporting to provide transparent data relating to Budget and schedule
Lead financial tool development and enhancement to enable ALAM team to make
Strategic Business Planning:
Prepare the yearly Normal and Special Capital roadmap to outline planned investments in coming year(s)
Lead the monthly preparation of ALAM’s Normal Capital review, coordinating with regional General Managers to prioritize Investment opportunities.

Profil recherché

Degree in finance, engineering or chemistry with strong financial modeling skills, or MBA degree in combination with strong technical acumen, training or prior experience. Previous experience with product development, marketing, or sales is a plus.
Demonstrated cross-functional skills
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Solid background in financial modeling, including cost of ownership modeling, and capital investment justification
Solid understanding of industry issues and trends in combination with strong understanding of product development and manufacturing.
Ability to quickly and effectively assess, evaluate, and communicate market opportunities, competitive issues, and business performance.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate across organizational and cultural boundaries.
Ability to effectively motivate, facilitate, and direct the activities of individuals and project teams.
Excellent organizational skills.
