Missions
The US Manager, Business Integrated Insights, Oncology serves as a strategic partner to the Oncology Business Unit and Brand Teams by supporting the generation of customer, market, and product insights derived from primary market research, secondary data and competitive intelligence. This position will be involved with two brands in the portfolio: Onivyde and Tazverik. This role reports to the Associate Director, Business Integrated Insights, Oncology. The person in this role will support the execution, and presentation of analyses needed to make strategic decisions that aim to improve the performance of aligned brands. The Manager, Business Integrated Insights, Oncology will gain experience with a variety of measurement and research methods, project management, data evaluation, market research, and insight generation. The person in this role will need an understanding of the pharmaceutical business and marketing. This person will interact directly with Marketing, Finance, Forecasting, Value & Access, Sales, Analytics, Commercial Excellence and Medical. This is a critical role in helping the Business Insights team to deliver on its mission to provide not only facts and data, but insights and implications that drive growth.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Integrated Insights team and cross-functional partners across the brands and business
- Drive business need identification, qualification, and resolution while leveraging business analytics and other data-driven resources, for example: regular reporting (managed in collaboration with Analytics) , primary and secondary market research, customer intelligence and competitive intelligence
- Work closely with different vendors to conceptualize, develop and coordinate market research programs
- Collaborate with our Competitive Intelligence vendor to monitor competitive environment, emerging scientific data and commercial activities
- Work to translate findings from primary market research into actionable insights and influence team’s decision making accordingly
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to the cross-functional team
Profil recherché
Requirements:- BA/BS or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceuticals and life sciences experience (roles in marketing, business analysis or management consulting preferred)
- Oncology experience preferred, but not required
- Understanding of the commercialization of biopharmaceuticals
- Ability to transition easily from data and observations to practical business considerations
- Excellent organization, planning, prioritization and project management ability
- Strategic/critical thinking abilities and eye for business
- Ability to dig deeper and uncover the “why” beneath observed behaviors
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Fluent English is compulsory (written and verbal)
