Missions

The UPSA laboratories (Union de Pharmacologie Scientifique Appliquée) are historically specialized in pain management and self-medication. Doctor Camille Bru founded the laboratories in Agen in 1935.
In the last eight decades, UPSA has developed an unparalleled expertise in Europe in relation to pain, flu conditions, energy, digestion, and quality of sleep. UPSA symbolizes research, quality of excellence and French production: thanks to its extensive self-medication product range, UPSA develops and introduces new medication to treat every day pains.
UPSA is part of Taisho Pharmaceutical group since July 2019.
Since 1951, UPSA’s manufacturing plant was built in Agen, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne (47) . UPSA is constantly seeking innovative ways to address health’s permanent evolution. In that regard, UPSA capitalizes on its center for development pharmaceutics to adapt to its patients’ changing needs.

The Sales and Marketing specialist will be part of the UK busines. He/She will be instrumental in strategic and operational sales, e-commerce and marketing activities.
The position reports directly into the GM/Chief E-commerce officer. The role gives excellent cross-functional exposure by executing the launch plans in collaboration with the Marketing Team, Sales team, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Department and Finance. It includes cross functional collaboration with UPSA Global Marketing.
In a context of creating a brand-new business in the UK, it’s the right moment if you want to be part of UPSA ‘Conquest 2027’ambition. As active member of the UK team, the function is fully accountable in building and supporting new brand/product launches for the UK market. This position is hybrid office / work from home, office is located in Chiswick, close to London.

Mission
Work in close collaboration with the Sales / E-Commerce and Marketing team in order to:
  • Prepare and implement the new product launch and to reach the expected market targets
  • Preparate, implement, and follow of the brand activities
  • Management of assign marketing budget.
  • Develop, prepare, implement, and follow of creative marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor competitive situation, market trends and broader environment: Provide information on performance, key competitors, market dynamics.
  • Develop marketing and e-commerce tools for POS.
  • Prepare briefing, coordinate, and follow-up with external agencies to develop marketing material, (and others, if relevant)
  • Support the management team in coordinating marketing and sales pitches
  • Be consumer & shopper centric.
  • Ensure strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders (UPSA International, Commercial team, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Medical department, and Finance) as well as external customers (Healthcare professionals, Consumers, …) .
  • When launch is ready: Stretch assign to implement launch with E-commerce and marketing.

Profil recherché

  • Master’s degree in business management, Marketing – Business or equivalent
  • Ambition to quickly learn
  • Experience in marketing, sales is a must within, FCG, Pharma industry is an asset
  • Capacity to thing outside of the box
  • Ability to give and prepare presentations
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and business oriented.
  • Agile, willing to work in an entrepreneurial enviroment.
