Could you be the full-time V.I.E Support for Train Performance Manager (TPM) in Mannheim we’re looking for?

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that train performance meets customer, operational, and regulatory requirements while aligning with product safety, quality, cost, and cybersecurity objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (vehicle design, subsystem specialists, certification teams) , support the preparation of technical documents, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of supporting the Train Performance Manager (TPM) in tasks like managing requirements and contributing to certification processes, but also assist in impact analyses and evidence planning.
We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting vehicle and subsystem design to meet defined targets
- Ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are converted into train-level specifications
- Deriving and ensuring consistency of subsystem-level requirements
- Defining and contributing to the Project Verification and Validation strategy
- Managing inputs from issue lock and change management systems (e.g., RTC, CCT)
- Utilising tools like DOORS for requirements management
- Contributing to certification and authorization processes
- Preparing evidence documentation and impact analyses

- Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Railway Systems)
- Experience or understanding of system engineering principles
