VIE has been a Talent acquisition tool used by SLB over the past 2 years to identify and develop European Talents.
We are at a stage where we want to industrialize our processes to allow future growth of this program

1.Process Automatization (3-4 Months project)

As part of this VIE assignment, the objective first priority will be to support the company global VIE Team with optimizing and automating its internal processes from posting offer to end of VIE mission) , with a particular focus on automation and digital enablement.

The VIE Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, defining automation needs, and implementing suitable solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and simplify day-to-day operations. This will allow the VIE team to concentrate on more added value topic such as engaging with the VIE community.

The VIE Coordinator must have expertise on Power Apps, PowerBI and process design, since he/she will be in charge of the automatization of our processes.
  • Analyze and map existing VIE administrative processes (e.g. onboarding, offboarding, employee data updates, document management, etc.) .
  • Identify pain points and propose improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement automated workflows using Microsoft tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) .
  • Support the team in digitalizing manual tasks and simplifying internal procedures.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools (PowerBI, Excel) to track key HR indicators.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality across all HR systems and tools.
2.Recruiting & Staffing Coordinator
Another part of the mission will be for the VIE coordinator to work closely with the VIE Champion and be the main point of contact for SLB Management as well as for the VIE Community along their mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate on VIE program to SLB Management, clarify VIE status, VIE and Managers rights and duties, onboarding process, VIE mission roadmap etc
  • Coordinate VIE offer posting and VIE Recruitment Forums (Digital and presential)
  • Coordinate the hiring process for new recruits, including informing all stakeholders internal and external of actions to be taken (travel, relocation, effective start date, security clearances, and visa coordination.)
  • Act as a first point of contact for our VIEs.
  • Responsible to run our VIE survey sent to VIE and VIE Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.
3.Diverse Projects and Community Engagement Initiatives

In addition to his/her core responsibilities, the VIE Coordinator will be exposed to other projects, such as:
  • Conducting a benchmark study with other large companies that also run the VIE program, to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
  • Organizing events for the VIE Community, marking key milestones in the program, to foster a sense of community and engagement.
  • Leading the creation of a platform that brings together the VIE community, including current participants, Alumni, and future VIE candidates joining the program at SLB.
These initiatives will play a crucial role in strengthening the VIE program’s presence, engagement, and strategic alignment within the organization.
