Présentation de la société :At Upway, we are committed to making electric mobility accessible to everyone. We are in the process of building the largest marketplace for brand-new and certified pre-owned e-bikes. Our goal is to offer consumers the broadest selection of e-bikes at competitive prices, all while providing the peace of mind that comes with professional reconditioning and warranties. By rapidly advancing our mission, we aim to accelerate the transition to more sustainable and efficient modes of transportation. This includes reducing waste through the extension of e-bikes' lifecycles and returning urban space to the community. Upway is an early-stage startup with backing from prestigious investment funds such as Sequoia Capital and Global Founders Capital (Rocket Internet) . In our first two years, Upway has successfully expanded its operations across France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States (our latest launch in March 2023) .

Poste et missions :
Upway is hiring a Business Development Manager within its US Operations team. The operation team’s role is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers, by sourcing the best e-bikes, refurbishing them and delivering them to their new owner in a seamless customer experience.
Build our partner network in a specific region
Everything from cold outreach to relationships management
Organize, execute and report on in market visits
Work independently with a variety of partners, from bike shops to brands
Prospect, negotiate and buy the best selection of 2nd hand electric bike available on the market
Support a high performing result driven culture among the team
Deliver on specific timelines and targets
Profil recherché
- Fluently in English (C2) is a must
- 3y+ years of experience in Sales, Purchasing or Operations
- Superior negotiation skills in order to convince every partner to work with us!
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Autonomy and ability to operate in high pace environments
- Willingness to take ownership of topics and be accountable for results
- Willingness to travel and possibly relocate if needed
- Please note that this role will be based in Los Angeles with extensive traveling required
