Missions
Vranken-Pommery Australia is the established subsidiary of the world’s second largest Champagne Group Vranken-Pommery Monopole founded in 1976. Besides an outstanding portfolio of Champagne brands, the group also produces wines in the South of France, Portugal, the UK and California. Vranken-Pommery Australia imports and distributes these wines since 2010, with our own team of representatives on the ground.We are looking for a dynamic all-round administrator and perfectionist with an appetite for marketing, who is wanting to join a small but great team in a professional environment to gain overseas experience. The position is based in our Melbourne office and the mission will be for 12 months, renewable for an 12 additional months.
Responsibilities (not exhaustive) :
- Provide support in order processing and invoicing
- Correspondence with outsourced logistical suppliers
- Set up new accounts & perform credit checks
- Inventory management
- Prepare samples & organise couriers
- Accounting & finance support if part of your degree and/or prior experience
- Provide substantial support to our submission to the French subsidy program ‘Agrimer’
- Provide support with events and wine tastings should your profile allow
- Provide support for local social media activity and other marketing requirements
Profil recherché
Requirements :- Business school or university degree
- Strong interpersonal, spoken and written skills in English
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook, experience with SAGE (ERP) is a plus, but not required
- Essential skills include excellent organization and timemanagement skills, attention to detail, rigor
- We also expect a professional and “can-do” attitude, proactivity and reliability
- Enthusiastic with a strong ability to work under time pressurein a busy small team environment
- Available for immediate start
- Experience in the wine industry is a plus, but not required
