Functioning:
- Spearhead technical and scientific initiatives for Arkema China.
- Define and implement strategies to achieve
- Communicate results clearly and document findings.
- Manage interns and university collaborations.
- Participate in collaborative projects and manage third-party companies.
- Lead workshops to address data science needs.
- Analyze and organize data to understand customer requirements.
- Develop learning algorithms and data science tools.
- Stay updated on new technologies.
- Implement tools to enhance R&D capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise across departments.
- Build a network of internal and external experts.
Profil recherché
Required Profile:You hold a master’s degree from engineering schools or universities such as Polytechnique, University Paris Diderot, or ESPCI, in fields such as mathematics, computer science, or bioinformatics, with a strong scientific background and knowledge of data science and chemistry.
You possess a diverse range of skills, including:
- Strong software development skills, especially in R, Python…
- Knowledge of R&D processes in chemistry and materials.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain complex concepts and persuade various stakeholders, including R&D, process teams, factories, marketing, and business units.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and address the company's cross-functional issues.
- Outstanding listening skills to accurately gather information and needs from different departments.
- Fluency in English, both common and technical.
- Personal qualities such as scientific curiosity, a capacity for learning, and a passion for research.
In addition to meeting the Business France VIE eligibility criteria for the VIE program, it is compulsory to have two years of work experience related to the position for the China visa application.
