Poste et missions :
The Benelux organization covers virtually all types of activities of all the Group's specialties, it represents the entire Saint-Gobain Group in miniature, making it a complex but very interesting environment from a legal and compliance perspective.
That’s why we need you! By joining us, you will advise and support various internal stakeholders in all areas of law (including compliance) important to the organization. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and inspiration within a large multinational company in which you will have a large degree of individual freedom and responsibility!
You will monitor SG Benelux’ legal and compliance standards and ensure the development and maintenance of our standard legal & compliance framework, including related internal procedures and workflows.
The main role
- You will assist in the process of drafting, negotiating and advising on issues related to commercial contracts.
- Assess standard agreements of (potential) customers, partners and suppliers on their (legal) risks and manageability.
- Act as a central point of contact for all legal questions, contracts and compliance issues.
- You have regular contact with various stakeholders within the companies, both from the office in Breda and at the companies' premises. For example, one day you might receive questions about a response to a letter received at a company, the next day you might be working on a complex agreement or providing compliance training to the sales team of one of our Saint-Gobain companies.
Because no two days are the same, we require a flexible and pragmatic attitude:
- You can switch well between different subjects, are optimistic, a real go-getter and go for the best result.
- You enjoy working as part of a team but can also work well in a concentrated manner on a complex contract.
- English is the main language within the companies, but if you speak French, that is considered an advantage.
At the Breda office:
- Fresh fruit is waiting for you every week.

- After a while, with good results, you can work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
Profil recherché
- You hold a master’s degree in the Law of a European country, and you are enthusiastic about commercial law & contracting, compliance and/or data protection.
- You can work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- You have a hands-on mentality.
- You are accurate, structured and detail oriented.
- You are easy to reach out and have excellent communication skills.
- You are familiar with the dynamics of a commercial organization operating in an international environment.
- You have some experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, GDPR matters and/or compliance topics.
