Missions
The team is based in Brussels and is composed of 3 colleagues: the Head of the EU Public Affairs and two Public Affairs managers. They mainly interact in English, but also frequently in French (additionally, German, Spanish and Flemish languages are respectively spoken fluently by one team member) .It is part of a wider Corporate Public Affairs department based in the Group’s HQ in Paris. The Air Liquide EU representation office has been newly created and is covering all the activities of the Group, from energy transition topics, to electronics, space and clean mobility, covering a wide range of industrial value chains.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The EU Public Affairs Office in Brussels is in charge of representing the Group towards the European Institutions stakeholders that influence them. It contributes to inform the Group on policy trends as well as to improve Air Liquide’s visibility in Brussels.
Generally, the Junior EU Public Affairs Office will support the EU Public Affairs team in reaching its mission. Specifically, she/he will be in charge of the following non-exhaustive tasks:
Monitoring and mapping of relevant issues that can impact the group;
Developing briefings and a weekly newsletter to keep the internal network of public affairs managers and other colleagues informed;
Contributing to developing internal briefings and provide recommendations on positioning;
Preparing meetings with EU decision makers
Profil recherché
Candidate Education:We are looking for a graduate in Political science/Law (or else) to complement the team, preferably with some first experience on EU decision making processes.

Candidate Profile
Strong writing skills in English
One additional language will be regarded as a plus, and minimal notions of French helps
Analytical and organized, caring for details, strong interpersonal and networking skills
Expertise in EU decision-making process / Previous experience in the EU institutions will be
regarded as a plus
